Welcome to walkerfarm.com
Welcome to Walker Farm - A great place to find rare and interesting annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs. We love plants and we love people who love plants. A lot of places say they have a large selection of unusual things to grow, but once you visit our garden center, you'll know no one is as crazy as we are about gardening.

  • Late Winter, Almost Spring, 2010 - Do you like the idea of a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)? We had such an encouraging response to our Winter CSA the past couple of years we've decided to create a Spring/Summer/Fall type CSA that would mesh well with the farmstand yet allow our farm friends who want to be a bit more involved with their flowers and food an opportunity to "invest" in Walker Farm. Our new "freedom" CSA will allow you to pre-purchase a discounted Farm Harvest Share Card that will help us to finance the large startup costs we have in the Spring and enable you to receive a 3% or 6% discount on everything we sell until the card's value runs out. The 6% savings is probably better interest than you can get at the bank plus we are offering some special CSA member activities that will add to the Share value and be a lot of fun to boot.

Our new CSA will give you the freedom to shop any day of the week instead of a designated pickup date. You'll be able to choose just the freshest vegetables and fruits that you like when you need them as well as flowers, trees, pottery or anything else we sell. Since the value of the card does not epire until the credit runs out, you don't have to worry about missing a weekly pickup if you forget or are on vacation. The little electronic "gift-type" card is swiped at the farmstand and each purchase is deducted from the balance. Balances can be checked at the farmstand or on-line.

Click on the 2010 CSA link at the main page for further details and the Sign-Up sheet.
