CUSTOMIZED BOXES
Customized boxes based on what YOU want! Not a fan of beets? Want to eat all the carrots? Customized boxes will allow you to select preferences at sign-up and then customize each week based on our harvest. This will help you actually use everything in the box because you’ll love everything you are getting!

For the 16th year Walker Farm will be offering a fall/winter CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) food plan that can extend your enjoyment of fresh local organic produce for an extra 6 weeks after the farmstand closes on Thanksgiving. The CSA pickup will start December 2 or 3, 2023 and continue for the next 5 weeks – 12/9 or 12/10, 12/16 or 12/17, 12/23 or 12/24, 12/30 or 12/31 and 1/6 or 1/7/2024.
This year we are offering two share sizes. If you would like to receive the large share of Walker Farm organic produce, price will be $300 for 6 
weekly pickups of $50.00 worth of our Certified Organic produce. The second option, a smaller share, will be $240 with 6 weekly pickups of $40.00 worth of Walker Farm produce. Your share will be able to be customized to reflect what you like and don’t like or you can simply take the default selection as in previous years. You’ll be able to add on a Benny Bread option (rotating between walnut, white and multigrain) for $42 which will give you one loaf per week for 6 weeks. Additional item add-ons will be available for separate purchase throughout the season so you can choose just the products you want. Honey from Young’s Bee Farm, maple syrup from Glabach’s Sugarhouse and other local items as well as farmstand items will be available for optional purchase each week on-line if you would like to add those to your order.
Weekly pickup will be Curbside on Saturdays and Sundays at Walker Farm. You’ll drive down by our display greenhouse and give the crew member your name so we can deliver the share you selected right to your vehicle. Pickup time will be between 11 AM and 2 PM. Please try to have a neighbor or friend pick up if you are out of town. If you are on vacation, there will be a new “hold” option.
The produce might include spinach, broccoli, lettuce, mesclun mix, leeks, parsley, cilantro, arugula, celery, chard, winter squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, radishes, beets, turnips, carrots, cabbage, shallots, garlic, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, kale, and more. This year we anticipate having a good fall harvest despite the erratic growing year! Our onion crop was very good despite all the wet weather and we’re excited about our sweet potato, potato and winter squash crop. Plus, our new moveable greenhouse will allow us to plant more winter greens for your meals! Of course there’s a lot of autumn to go and with the roller coaster weather ride we’ve been experiencing all summer, you never can be too sure what crops will do well and which ones will falter.
We will be selecting produce for the weekly shares from fresh crops overwintered in greenhouses and harvested crops stored in our coolers. Our sixteenth year of winter CSA will average 210 shares offered on a “first come, first serve” basis. Last year we had your great support and filled up the CSA.

1 lb fresh spinach, 3 lbs Copra yellow onions, 2 lbs carrots, 1 bunch radish, ½ lb arugula, 3 lbs German Butterball potatoes, 1 Butternut winter squash, 2 heads lettuce, 1 bunch Rainbow chard, 1 head green cabbage, 1 lb beets, 1 loaf Benny Bread, 1 jar Pete’s Honey from the hardworking Walker Farm bees.
